To a pudding

,
To a Stornoway pudding,

Smuggled back to the hoose,

A380 in the hold,

I strolled through customs and spoke very bold,

Chocolate, whisky, and Scottish Pudding,

A trifecta of pleasure,

That one just cannot measure when you live so far from home,

Moments in time so sublime,

Taste buds explode,

Memory overload,

Back to my youth and days gone by,

Sitting at the the ferry with rain on the roof,

Watching the ships along the Clyde,

Too much Tennants imbibed,

Sometimes stumbling for a better view,

Oh look, there’s a heilan coo,

There’s one piece left,

My heart is broken,
