I paid a visit to my old school in Glasgow. I haven’t been here since 1966 I think. I’m a bit vague because it was a long time ago. The school was designed by Charles Rennie McIntosh who was an architect, painter,designer and a big influence during the art deco period.  

His style is unique and so rather than me tell you all about him, please Google his name. 

I can remember helping to carry a crate of milk up to the top floor with another lad and thinking how difficult it was. The crate was digging into my hand because it was so heavy and to add insult to injury I never drank it, cause I don’t like it.
