Origin Energy

I am currently away from my home, I’m overseas in fact. So I need to get information about a new Solar Hot Water System and so I decided to contact my electricity supplier which just happens to be Origin Energy. Now they do have a website but when it comes to finding out about a hot water system the information is lacking and so I decided to contact them to get some help and below is the dialogue that I entered into.

I will need to replace my Dux solar hot water system soon and I am wondering if you have a similar product that you can offer and if so do you have any payment plans. The system I have is a 315L electric solar system, cheers Campbell

I am currently overseas and so I am unable to call the number to find out. On your website there is no information about Solar Hot water systems that I could see. If you can direct me to that specifically then that will be great. I only need to replace my HOT WATER System. Maybe if you can give a more detailed response would be good, cheers Campbell

Hi Donald! Thanks for getting in touch. You can email the team on homeproductsales_admin@originenergy.com.au. Hope you have a great trip oversea’s. Have any questions or want to chat more? You can reply to this message by clicking the ‘Re-open Enquiry’ button below. You can also reach out to us on Facebook here www.facebook.com/OriginEnergy. Thanks, Prateek.

Now as far as I am concerned “Prateek” in particular is a lazy bastard because instead of just replying to me with a standard answer then he could have forwarded my email onto the home product sales. Then I had a thought, maybe these guys are not real people, you know you often engage with AI systems now, especially if you get in to an online chat for help. But then I see that Prateek can not spell very well and so ∑∑I am sure that AI is not that clever that it would make a spelling mistake and so on that basis I conclude that Prateek is just a lazy bastard doing the bare minimum in his job at Origin Energy in Calcutta.

At this point I am not sure if I will re-open my enquiry and set a challenge for this responder. I might complain a little about the help I have received from Prateek in particular just because I can, but today I have a few things to do and so I can not be bothered. But at the end of the day I would just be wasting my time
