I’m really looking forward to my next visa run and would love to go earlier but I can not due to ,well lack of funds and a few commitments. I always enjoy breakfast, it’s one of my favourite meals of the day, well at least you know you are alive which is always a good thing. After breakfast I usually go to the park for my morning exercise. I see the same old faces, some say hello and others just stare, but it is this familiarity that I am finding very boring and I really do need a change of scenery but as I say I will have to wait for a bit. And I guess there is always the nagging accommodation issue, I’m never sure who my flat mate will be next time I see her. A few weeks ago she was in a good space and life was cruising along and now a few weeks later due to some personal relationship problems each day is a surprise, a mine field. You are never sure whether to say hello or just get out of her way and this can be a bit of a drag after a while and so I really need to get away from this.

What can take my mind of these trivial problems is lunch, I really do enjoy my lunch at the local Lanzhou La Mian restaurant a highlight of the day. Food is always enjoyable, in fact consumption is the most enjoyable part of life at the moment. I really look forward to my next meal or coffee or tea for that matter. The whole temples, gardens and arty farty thing is also, well boring……………..been there done it and have many T-shirts.

My next next visa run will be in December and I really want to go to the north west of China before I exit the country and I am not sure whether I will leave China at that point or come back in for the remaining 3 months of my visa. It would make more sense to stay a little longer because I want to travel a bit and the winter months might not be the best time to do so and I would really like to be in the UK for summer and if I arrive there too early then the financial cost will be a problem. Ah the decisions of an international jet setter that has no money to spare, but instead lives life on a very meagre amount and to be honest has no real need to complain but instead just wanted to write something cause he was bored……………………..
